ANGIOGRAM is a test and
ANGIOGRAPHY is treatment -

Angiography is a medical imaging technique in which an X-ray picture is taken to visualize the inner opening of blood filled structures, including arteries, veins and the heart chambers. Its name comes from the Greek words angeion, "vessel", and graphien, "to write or record". The X-ray film or image of the blood vessels is called an angiograph, or more commonly, an angiogram.

Angioplasty is a term describing a procedure used to widen vessels narrowed by stenoses or occlusions. There are various types of these procedures and their names are associated with the type of vessel entry and equipment used. For example, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) describes entry through the skin (percutaneous) and navigates to the area of the vessel of interest through the same vessel or one that communicates with it (transluminal). In the case of a procedure involving the coronary arteries, the point of entry could be the femoral artery in the groin and the catheter/guidewire system is passed through the aorta to the heart and the origin of the coronary arteries at the base of the aorta just outside the aortic valve.

Angiography (Arteriography) is test that uses x-rays and a special dye to see inside the arteries. It can be used to see arteries in the heart, brain, kidney, and many other parts of the body.
Coronary angiography is done to find a blockage in the coronary arteries, which can lead to heart attack. It may be done if you have unstable angina, atypical chest pain, aortic stenosis, or unexplained heart failure.
Angioplasty is a medical procedure to open narrowed or blocked blood vessels of the heart. These blood vessels are called the coronary arteries.
Angioplasty is not considered to be a type of surgery. It is called a percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).

Angiography is a picture of the blood flow through the arteries of the heart. It requires having a catheter pushed though the arteries of the body from the thigh to the heart. Angioplasty involves having small sleeves called stents put in the arteries to hold the walls apart. Hmm. I think I'll take my chance with better diet.

Angiography is a specialized x-ray that sends dye to the arteries to look for abnormalities.
Angioplasty is a remedy used to "fix" any abnormality found in the angiogram (like a blockage etc.) It is much less invasive than major open heart surgery
