well i know tapioca, but what else (if anything)? just wondering if theyre vegetarian...

True it is made from the cassava plant, the plant which is toxic in certain way, once cookied it is not, for tapioca, they grind the roots into flour and there made by adding a small amount of water to make a paste and then extruded and a machine rolls them into the small or larges pearl types, instant is made into sheets broken, resteamed to aid in cooking, I toured a plant in Thailand, I prefer the large ones used in bubble tea, I am a big fan of tapioca pudding, and it can be made with soya mlik for a ll veg type.

They are made from tapioca starch, which is extracted from cassava root. Cassava is also known as manioc or yuca in different parts of the world.

I know for certain tapioca is a plant.

My wife is Indian (vegetarian) and they call it "sabu-danna" or something like that.
