I would like to eat purple brocolli.

I love brocolli!

But I'm not (nor will I ever be) an astronaut...

It's so UNFAIR!

Broccoli actually does have a purple bloom to it, and yes I eat it - it's one of my favourite vegetables.

I've seen purple broccoli before. Never had it though, but I wouldn't be against giving it a try.

Have you never seen purple sprouting broccoli? It's quite commonplace, and it's very nice.

not if it was genetically modified to be that way, just like i wouldn't eat the purple cauliflower or carrots i do see in the stores

Eggplant is purple, so are some grapes and onions. I have no problem with eating those.

Of course. It is still a vegetable. As long as it grows from the ground and is not poisonous I will eat it.
