Brie and Baguettes. Looks fancy and is easy (10 min to make)and delicious.
You will need 1 pkg of puff-pastry already from the frozen food section (by the frozen pie crusts), a wheel of brie, a loaf of baguette bread (the skinny french bread stuff) and 1 egg.
Lay out the sheet of puff pastry and set the cheese in the middle. fold the sides of to the middle of the top (so that it looks nice) and then trim off the extra. Lay out the extra bits of dough and cut them into holly leaf shapes (about 5) about 1 inch long. Brush the leaves with a little egg- this makes them shiny. Place the leaves in a little circle pattern to cover the spot in the middle of the brie where the ends of the pastry meet up. Put the whole thing on a cookie sheet (on a piece of parchment to keep it from sticking) and bake at 325 until the crust turns golden. The cheese will be warm and melty. Cut the bread into oblong slices and don't forget to add a few serving knifes to the tray. It will look fancy and is delicious (can be warmed back up in a micro if you must). T

I will give you my secret recipe for a dip that will keep them coming back for more until it's gone! you can double up on the recipe and split into two batches and bring out the backup once the first one is gone.
Love Dip (because everybody loves it!)
1 pkg cream cheese
3 small pkgs Carl Budding Beef chopped
1 bunch green onion chopped
1-2 tbls of Accent Seasoning (you must have this seasoning or it won't taste good) I just pour it in when I make it so I'm not exactly sure on the quantity-sorry
mix together and serve with wheat Ritz crackers
otherwise here is a good recipe for stuffed tomatoes which are very pretty and very good also!

Olive Garden Smoked Mozzerella Fonduta.
My girlfriend made it and it tasted EXACTLY like the restaurant, if not better.
We took it as an appetizer to a Thanksgiving dinner, and everyone was raving.
You can also substitute Smoked Provolone for Smoked Mozzerella if you absolutely have to.
Recipe is attached below.

I would suggest an antipasto platter and for dessert I would make a fruit, jello & cookie trifle. You can make the trifle soooo pretty with strawberry or cherry jello (red), lime jello or tropical melon (green), whatever. Be creative. I am making the trifle for x-mas. I am making a pepperoni pizza dip in the crockpot for an appetizer.

Here's a couple. Soak water chestnuts in soy sauce overnight. Wrap them in bacon the next day, broil for 14 minutes and serve with plum sauce or seafood sauce.
2nd - get a wheel of brie, stuff with garlic and cranberries, bake in the oven and serve with an assortment of crackers.

Get some pretzel rods and dip them in white chocolote. Sprinkle them with crushed up candy canes.
They are so fun to make and eat but they look so pretty too. Good luck on your contest!
