Dont Know What To Do

Several years ago I developed bronchitis just before a major performance. My voice coach suggested acupuncture. At the time I thought that was a ridiculous suggestion, but was desperate enough, I gave it a try. I went the day before my performance and was in full voice when the curtain opened. To my astonishment, it worked like a charm.

I learned never to doubt my coaches recommendations. To this day I have a hard time believing it worked, but would do it again, in a heart beat.

Give it a try. I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Don't drink very hot or very cold liquids.

Try soothing products such as throat drops (not cough drops- the menthol will damage your voice!)

Take a steamy shower and breathe deeply.

Avoid dairy foods.

Relax and get plenty of rest!
