Ozark Trails tents are pretty good. you'll need a flashlight(include extra batteries), something to start a fire, lots of drinking water(if none is gonna be available where you're going), a first aid kit, food, bedding, a little extra cash(just in case the local area doesn't take cards or checks), cooking utensils, and shovel(dig hole for fire or wastes if no bathroom available). Check the area you are going to go to. Look at local weather forecast, animals, pests, types of trees and plants(you might be allergic to them), and and access to authorities and help. First thing you need to think of is where you will be going. Is it real cold where you will be camping? What kind of Needs you will be requiring, How many will be going, Type of tent needed dome tents are great, sleeping bags should be sub zero type, Water holding items (canteens), Stoves (propane), Fire wood? check with the local fire marshal for open fires. Flash light with back up batteries, Matches and flint striker (survival style), Food be sure it is a sealed packaged type. (wild animals), Good hiking boots. Good cold weather clothing, Survival Knife, These are the recommended items i do sujest. Then there are the luxuries. Beer, Steaks, And bacon and eggs. lol. Have a great time. Hope it will be in warm weather.
