I've heard a bunch of different pronunciations.

Sew - the neddle and thread thing
Sow - like the female pig
Cho
Chow
Ta-Sew and
Ta-Sow

At a Chinese restaurant I just went to, the waitress pronounced it as "Sow".

So I pick "Sow"

I've heard it pronounced many ways, but the most accepted pronunciation in American English seems to be "so," with a silent "t" and a long o.

Probably the most accurate pronunciation would be with the original spelling "Zuo," which would be pronounced "dwzoh" with a long o, but that's not exactly easy for English speakers to pull off.

Basically, call it whatever you want as long as you get the order right...

Tso is pronounced as spelled.
I know a lot of people say that in English you can't say 'ts'.
What about 'cats' and 'kits' and 'pots'?
Or in the middle of a word.
'Bitsy' and 'cutesy'?
All you have to do is take that 'ts' sound and put it in front.
'Tso' (which is actually 'Tsao') is as easy to say as 'tsunami'.
