Better to cure the problem. Read Joel Wallach (Dead Doctors Don't lie) Supplement with Chromium and Vanadium. Choose not to be a slave to the AMA and the pharmaceutical industry.

Type 2 diabetes, usually referred to as adult onset, is when your body produces insulin but can not use it properly. This type can be treated successfully with the right diet and exercise in most circumstances. If blood sugars are not kept under control at some point insulin will probably be integrated / oral medications are also available.
People with diabetes can live long, happy lives but must be diligent in their care and make sure you see your endocrinologist on a regular basis.

I did not want an insulin pump for years. I did not want something attached to me. When a friend got one and I saw it on her, I wanted one. Today you can not take it away from me. I love my pump and the much better control over diabetes. I will not do without my pump and I am so glad that I have one

My friend has had diabetes since he was about 8 years old. He is a cool, attractive, athletic guy, and he had to give himself injections and test his blood glucose constantly growing up. Now he has an insulin pump. It is very small, and he can take it off when he wants to, very easily (for swimming, etc). He loves it and says it changed his life.
