Have seen a web site where sex went from anus to oral to vagina. No condoms involved was appalled. NO wonder HIV, STDs and Hepatitis are rampant. There should be site standards that support safe sex and if they dont they should be shut down. I wonder what the life expectancy is of these people.

The thing to remember about pornography is that it's not what people do in the real world.

Yes, going from orifice to orifice is very unhygienic. going anus to vagina can lead to severe vaginal infections. Going anal to oral can lead to Hepatitis A and Shigella flexneri infections. It hasn't been documented clearly, but I'd wager E. coli would be an issue, too.

Much of mainstream pornography is stuff that's not grounded in reality, and moer inclined to shock than to titillate. Mainstream porn also often exploits their workers horrifically with poor pay, unsafe working conditions, abuse and druggings.

Instead of buying into the bad stuff, you can find porn that is more socially concious. Did you know there is a niche market in pornography that supports safer sex, fair employment practices and is size/orientation/race/gender inclusive? You just have to know where to look.

If you want to make a change for the better, discourage people from consuming the unhealthy and degrading porn. If no one buys it, no one makes it. Then switch to porn where people use condoms, actors get tested for STDs and all the workers get paid a fair wage.

Market forces can make big changes, folks.

maybe they shouldn't allow people having unsafe sex if its educational. if its porn then they have their own standards and should not be used as an educational too. some people live for years now that there are drugs to help prolong their life span and some stds don't cause death or life threatening conditions. parents can also block those sights so as to prevent teens or kids from seeing that stuff. if safe sex was looked up there may be condoms involved there.
i do agree with sex education and taching hygeine as well as using condoms and birth controll as well as educating people about stds.

from what you described, i would suspect that the site was a porn site.

the thing to remember is that porn is NOT sex education; nor does it claim to be. the only purpose of porn is sexual stimulation for its viewers. this sexual stimulation is achieved primarily by showcasing extreme sexual acts, among seemingly willing participants, who are young, beautiful and sexy, with little consequences. in other words, porn counters what we experience in reality.

fantasy asides, STDs are very common among adult film actors, as is unintended pregnancy. actors are required to be tested for HIV and STDs on a regular basis, and antibiotics are often made available on the set, which many actors use prophylactically.

the thing to keep in mind is that porn is entertainment and fantasy---not reality. this is why it's considered "adult material"--because it's assumed that most adults have a normal base-line of what "normal" sexuality is, and can differentiate between the fantasy on the screen and the health risks associated with the behaviors IRL.

good call!
