I have had aortic valve re-placed in 06, (bovine ) still have anginia on a daily basis, however the pain i have had the past couple of days is a tearing, ripping pain off and on during the day. only last a few seconds, and i noticed it is when I am busy doing house hold chores (making bed, etc) It scares me a little because I know it is direct pain inside the heart. I am not fond of calling the Dr. for every ache and pain so I am useing the " wait and see appraoch" is my way of dealing with this for now.Is it possible for the valve to tear and thats what I am feeling?

Ur pain should derive from any parts of ur chest. Maybe a myocardial ischemia (coronary disease) at varying levels, valvular diseases (it is possible even though ur valve replacment), or maybe a chest wall pain ... everythings is possible.
There is no harm to contact a specialized doctor for advices. And I think that u should do it now. The sooner the better

With those symptoms and your history I'd call the doctor and ask if this is normal or something that needs to be checked out. I know what you mean about calling over every little thing, but this doesn't seem little to me. Tell them you don't want to come off as a hypochondriac, but you don't want to ignore something that could turn out to be serious, either. They can also give you information about the things that require immediate attention and which things are not likely to be a problem.

Good luck, and I hope all is well with you soon.

You state here you know the pain is in your heart, if so then you need blood work and an EKG first. Because you are doing light exercise it could be to muscular in that chest area.
Best you get it checked out, since you had the valve replaced, get a echo cardiogram. Luck

To answer briefly, you gone all the trauma, there is no harm in calling your Dr. and asking his opinion, he is a better judge.
