I've just recently recovered from a cold, but during the process my ears were constantly plugging and unplugging. Unfortunately all I tried at the time was just chewing gum, like the way its suggested to relieve air pressure from your ears when at high altitudes (flying in an airplane). Friends however, have suggested using ear drops such as those meant for swimmer's ear. There is a nasal spray (though I don't know what kind) that I heard also relieves the pressure. Your best bet would probably be ear drops. Try the swimmer's ear drops over the counter, otherwise talk to a doctor if even to verify my information is accurate. It helps to know some background though. Were you sick before this? Were you under water? Did you just wake up that way? Did you yawn too hard? (that last one gets me sometimes x.x)

As a note: There is a possibility you may have ear wax, or even fluid in your ear that may be causing this feeling of pressure. My suggestion is to go to www. webmd.com. That website helped me diagnose myself with acute bronchitis. Wish me good health! :D

If you're talking about a clogged eustacian tube,
(feeling of pressure in one ear), try sleeping on
your side with that ear on top.
If that doesn't clear the problem, it's doctor time
as you may have an infection which should be
dealt with.
