200.
This has been happening consistently.
This morning, my pre-workout sugar was 135.
One hour after the workout it was 280???
Any idea what may be causing this?

Thank much.

A pre-work out reading of 135 is rather high and should be looked at. A reason it could be high is that you depleted your glucose resources and your body is releasing glycogen to compensate. I think a better question would be what precisely you are eating and such before the workout.

Chromium is ideal for preserving blood sugar levels, take this but also the bllod spins roudn the body faster so creates its own problems when type 2 as opposed to type 1.

Are you eating before you exercise ?

You may run low and your body sent out glycogen from your liver.
You need food before you work out.

I hope that helps.

both readings are elevated. Would suggest you see a diabetic educator and learn how to control your disease.
