There is no way to get chlamydia or ghonnorhea other then sexually...either anal, oral or regular sex. There are conflicting reports out there about wheather or not chlamydia can stay dormant for months and/or years before it is detected but ghonnorhea doesn't.

I'm sorry but no, Chlamydia and Ghonnorhea and transmitted through unprotected sex.
As for the comments of the infections being dorment. That isn't true. If you were tested during those two years for any STI's it should have pulled up during that time. Most women are asymptomatic, meaning NO SYMPTOMS - not that the infection stays undected from testing.
COuld you have had them for two years with no symptoms? There is a possiblity of it - there could be the fact you and your husband might not have been tested and therefore he had it unknowningly and passed it to you.
Yet, I think you would have expierenced something if you had them both for close to two years. I'm sorry.

Chlamydia can be carried in the body for years with no symptoms, but not Gonorrhea! The only way is through sexual contact. Intervaginally, anally, or orally! Someone's been screwin' around, no doubt about it!
That could be where you and your husband both got the chlamydia. You got it then passed it to your hubby.
The gonorrhea is an entirely different story, though

No they are pretty much exclusively transmitted sexually. There is a direct connection between them as well, if you get one it is easier to get the other. I think there is a specific order to that but I forget which one makes you more susceptible to the other, either way it is likely you got them at the same time, they are also far more susceptible to women to contract because of the way they are transmitted. You really need to get your husband tested as well. They are for the most part curable, but you will both need to go on medications.
