Huh? You're not making sense. You probably need to eat a good steak for the vitamins, minerals and proteins that help in brain development.

Why do I enjoy an omnivore lifestyle? Because I like the taste of meat, and I get the nutrients I need a lot easier through this diet than I would if I were veg*n.
Why do I never think I am killing some"one" for my taste? Because I don't think that. I know perfectly well that something has to die to feed me and for me to get my nutrients. I am not ignorant of my chosen lifestyle.
Humans and animals feel pain the same way? I wouldn't know, I can't talk to an animal, but the pain issue is a non-issue with me since animals for human conception are generally killed in as painless a way as possible(I know there are exceptions, but the exceptions don't make the whole slaughter industry bad).
Why do I say that veg*ns eat grass? I don't, I know their diet is more than just "grass", they have a very diverse menu(not as diverse as an omnivore's, but I know it is more than just "grass").
Don't want to hurt us? The only thing you are hurting me with is your atrocious spelling and grammar, not your opinion.

Unless they have a serious medical issue that prevents them from being vegetarian or vegan, there's really not a good reason. There was a question on here posted by someone who was doing a report on the pros and cons of vegetarianism, and she came on here asking for CONS, because absolutely NONE of the resources online or at the library said anything bad about it. That's tellin ya somethin! ;) P.S. - Even if they DID bring religion into it, I have Bible verses and explanations galore that prove otherwise! lol, I'm a strong Christian myself but I know the deal!

Ah, I remember being 5 years old. What a fun time. Of course, I didn't have a computer and access to the internet, so no one knew how badly I spoke or wrote. Not all progress is good, clearly.
EDIT: To Joanne: The person who posted this question does not represent the majority of veg*ns. Most of the people condemning questions like this are usually veg*ns. While there are a few overzealous (usually young) veg*ns who are very vocal about it, most are not. As for your assertion that meat eaters live and let live about food, that is inaccurate too. Meat eaters may not spend a lot of time talking about food, but when they find out someone is veg*n, they are merciless. They tease, make fun, insult, and generally try to tear the other person down and/or try to poke holes in their beliefs. Just wanted to clarify those two things.

What?! Either I can't understand your self righteous gibberish or I can't hear you over myself eating this burger. Gimme a sec..... Okay, here's your answer:
1.) I have incisors. They are used for tearing meat.
2.) I like meat. If going vegetarian is part of evolution then let my kind die out but for now I will continue to be a caveman.
3.) Eating too much vegetables makes me poop. Not the good kind either.
4.) I am glad you shared your views and said you do not want to hurt but your "sharing" was extremely condescending and a general swipe at carnivores.
5.) UR Granmar sux.

I think omnivorous humans either don't know a lot of what happens to their meat, don't care about it, or just choose to let it go.
Everyone I know of has a different reason for why they are or are NOT vegetarian (mind you I am a vegan, but this is just throwing some stuff out there).
My mother isn't vegetarian and says that she has "better things to worry about, there are people suffering out there, hungry children, women forced into prostitution, I have better things to focus my time and energy on".
My brother says that he feels strongly that human beings are physiologically designed to eat an ominivorous diet, and he's very adamant about it.
One of my best friends eats meat and he justifies it by saying, " Do you really think that lions or tigers care about their meat suffering? They shred the animal to bits, they fight and beat on their pray." He feels that nature's rougher on animals than slaughterhouses.
And then my father doesn't really care about the health benefits of vegetarianism, he says he wants to enjoy good food in the short amount of time he's alive, and that there's worse things he could be doing. He feels that it makes little difference in the judgement of his eternal soul whether he ate meat or not, and he really enjoys the taste.
That's why I personally lay off and avoid preaching unless someone personally attacks or confronts me about my own dietary choices. Everyone should have the right to choose how they want to eat, you see.
Off topic: Why is everyone the grammar/spelling gestapo now?
Perhaps this is someone that is foreign that wants to communicate in English, or someone that is really young or perhaps dyslexic (and dyslexic people can be quite brilliant, my husband couldn't spell to save his life but he is incredibly gifted in math and physics).

I like spaghetti?
If somewhere in the haze of misspelling, poor grammar and no punctuation your question is why do meaters give vegers a hard time it's because most of them haven't taken the time to understand the issues. Also, some meaters are not concerned with the same issues as vegetarians are diet-wsie.

Wow!! You get points for posting a question and I get two points for answering it. I can just type gibberish here and still get two points. Of course it doesn't really mean anything (the answer I mean) but at least I answered. And if I write something long enough, maybe Yahoo won't notice that it doesn't make much sense (your question and my answer I mean). I'll even be nice and write "good luck " at the end. Good luck!!

In order to spread vegetarianism and veganism effectively, your focus should be on educating people with credible, persuasive, and focused literature; providing well-documented and thorough answers for specific questions.

Vegetarians seem to have a chip on their shoulders and keep trying to push their way of life on people.
People who eat meat go their way and let the rest of the world do and eat whatever they wish. You will not see a meat eating person constantly talking about eating.
Vegetarians seem not to be able to join into any type of conversation without bring up how and what to eat.
HEEEEY, it is no big deal. Eat what you want to eat. No need to advertise it.
