Canned pinto beans are cooked and easier to eat, hence more digestible. Dried pinto beans can be hard on the teeth and difficult for your digestive system to digest.

Cooked, dried pinto beans and canned are very similar in nutritional value.

dried are better because you can control the amount of salt and sugar being added to your recipe. The only draw back with dried is that the take hours to cook and you can't salt them until the end so you really can't cook the seasoning of salt in them or they will never get soft. But if you do need to use canned for sake of time make sure you drain off all liquids and rinse the beans once or twice to get off all canning liquid.

Dried ones; canned ones tend to have added salt or preservatives, plus they leach small amounts of chemicals from the plastic coating that lines the metal of the can... which is linked to cancer...

dried. when u start with dried u know whats going into it. with canned u can't even pronounce half the things in there.

read labels -dried contain just the bean. canned often contain salt.

Dried because to artificial stuff in them such as preservatives.

good ? i would hav to say dried beans because they don't have a much added stuff... as canned stuff does.

Dried...all canned items have preservatives in them..
