I am diabetic and developed Peripheral Neuropathy in my legs and arms. Yes you can get it in your hands and face. Most parts of the body. Poor blood flow is normally the culprit. I take Gabapentin 300mgs three times a day. It helps with the pain. Sometimes a person with Peripheral Neuropathy in the feet can have a balance problem due to not being able to feel the ground.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

RE:
I am a diabetic and have Neurapathy in my legs and feet, is it possible to get it in my hands as well?
Also, can anyone tell me what causes neuropathy? I used to get beat up all the time and am wondering if that might be some of the reason.

Despite research, there is still no conclusive proof as to the cause of diabetic neuropathy. However there are factors which are thought to contribute to the condition. Hyperglycaemia (high blood glucose) causes chemical changes in nerves that can impair their ability to transmit signals. Hyperglycaemia can also harm the blood vessels that carry oxygen and nutrients to the nerves.
But neuropathy can also be caused by factors not necessarily associated with diabetes. These include disorders of the immune system, infectious diseases and deficiencies in certain nutrients.
And sorry but yes it is possible to get it in your hands.

Neuropathy is caused by high glucose levels damaging the small nerve endings and blood vessels in the "extremities"!! So yes, you can get it in your hands, around heart, lungs, intestines, etc. In fact if you don't get good control of your glucose levels it will be a very painful existance.
Damage to your bod will have had some effect on the nerve endings and tiny blood vessels as well. Dang people beating on other people!! They need hurt rather badly!!!

getting beat up is not what causes neuropathy. i'm not exactly clear on how, but my grandpa's doctor(he had diabeties) said that it had to do with how well he controled his blood sugar, and the vessels in the extremities (and totally ignoring his diabetes is why he lost a toe and eventually died of heart disease...)
and, yes, it can happen in your hands as well.
