Well first and foremost using a condom does not make having casual sex a good thing...and believe it or not the sex is "casual" and spur of the moment so most of the time condoms are not readily available. Even if they were there's always that one in a million chance.

Personally, I do/would.

But I know for a fact that many of my friends (aged 16 and 17) don't/wouldn't because they feel immature or embarassed.

The bad press is right, sorry, many of us do use condoms, but basically for every person that does, another person does.

The worrying thing is most of my friends just take the Pill and don't seem to be worried about STDs. Personally, they worry me more than pregnancy.

If you want to take a chance and have sexual intercourse without a condom in this day and age with someone whom you just met...the odds are you going to get something you will regret for the rest of your life.

Disease is everywhere and no one I mean no one can be trusted I don't care who you are or where your from or how many times you've actually had sex. I trust NO ONE.

Even if your married you are at risk when your spouse decides to be stupid out of the marrige.

I'm 21, and I don't use condoms. I've been with my boyfriend for over 2 years though, and with previous partners I ALWAYS used condoms. I don't know many people who do though...they're expensive and supposedly reduce the guy's pleasure.

I am confident that most of our young people are not having casual sex but are doing as they should and waiting.

Those that are in committed sexual relationships I would guess are taking precautions, but they would be the minority.

Everybody ISN'T doing it.

Well I guess that if its on the spare of the moment very few young people use protection, thats why things spread so fast, and the fashion of casual sex dosen't help to begin with...

Especially now a days with all the diseases that are out there and casual or not it's sex and YES you should always use condoms.
1 night of pleasure can cause you your whole "lifetime" (if you contract aids), not worth the risk!!!
Get educated on the risks of having unprotected sex.

quite a number of people do these days with the diseases like AIDS around. but some others do not which is unfortunate because you never know who the other person has been with and the STD's he might have contracted.to be on the safe side the best option is to wait till marriage meaning abstinance till the D-day.and if he or she really likes you he or she will wait for the perfect day which will create special memories.
