I'm an Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian for the sake of my animal brothers and sisters. I believe that veganism is the most cruelty-free path in this life as far as your diet goes, but it is really difficult and expensive for me to turn my diet upside down like that. So I feel ok because I am atleast doing something.

I am a lacto-vegetarian as well. I don't eat eggs but drink milk in moderation. I do not consume meat as I think the slaughter of animals is unethical. Another reason for my being vegetarian is that more energy is put into cultivating land and raising livestock than is put into cultivating it for farming alone. Hence, if all the people on earth were to consume meat, then there would not be enough energy and resources to feed the entire population. Last but not least, the meat-eaters are at a risk of getting various animal-borne diseases. Vegetarianism is also a healthier way because meats contain saturated fatty acids that increase the bad cholesterol which increases the chances of heart disease. It also contributes to obesity.

I'm a Vegetarian in Training. I have cut back tremendously. I plan to be a Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian by the new year.

I am a Vegetarian
I eat some dairy and eggs but should for health reasons really cut out the dairy. I also prefer to get my eggs from my sister. I know her chickens are happy well taken care of birds.

There is no such thing as a flexitarian they eat meat therefore they are meat eaters otherwise known as omnivores.

Ovo-LActo Vegetarian. I am trying to go vegan, except for my parents. I am because i used to live on a farm and i know what it's like for the animals. I don't want to be part of that.

-sweetie p isn't 'humanely killed' an oxymoron?

I'm a flexitarian.

Bad news for momamoo, we're all omnivores. She wants to be called a vegetarian, I want to be called a flexitarian.
