there is no cure for herpes. once u get it, you have it for life. there are prescription medications that you can take to help control the outbreaks but u will still be contagious to anyone u sleep with...always use condoms and spermicide from this pt on. inform your sexual partner of your disorder. also, get to a dr. and seek professional advise and supervision soon. good luck!

There is no known cure for it. Once the virus is in your body, it's there for good. It's actually the same virus that causes cold sores on lips. There are creams you can buy to put on when you feel an attack coming on, usually an unpleasant tingling sensation. It can sometimes stop the outbreak, but not always.
Stress, other illnesses and poor nutrition can bring on attacks, because it strikes when your body is weakened. So try and avoid those situations. Eat healthy foods, don't stress and keep away from sick people (so you don't get sick yourself). That's about all the advice I've got.

Sorry to break it to ya, but there is NO CURE. There are medications you can take to help clam down the breakouts. You should see your doctor right away, don't don't have sex with anyone, you will give them herpes as well.
