But you still have the smell that will eventually developed from peeing outside. How about just holding it unti you are ready to do #2 as well so you can kill two birds with one stone. :p

My husband and son do this often and it really bugs me. At least urine that is flushed down a toilet is treated before it goes back into the ground water. Your direct urine to dirt does not. if you want to make an environmental statement, don't flush the toilet every time after you "pee pee". Put the lid down, to prevent the smell. You can save just as much or more by limiting your flushes and your neighbors won't catch you with your pants down.

where do you think people went pee-pee before the invention of the toilet?:) If you check history some European(no pun intended)cities had their populations almost completely wiped out from plagues that were caused by raw sewage being dumped into their streets. So maybe the small cost of a gallon of water doesn't seem so bad after all.

You couls get anintall a waterless urinal, but after all that expense, it would be just a fun to pee outside. There is something exhilirating about whipping it out and going in the great outdoors. Just quit peeing on my tomater plants

Ideally, you should get a composting toilet, or an outhouse, but it is fine depending on the area you live in. I have heard that just about every alley in NYC is an outdoor toilet but you do have to make sure that the old widow lady across the street isn't at the window looking for her cats at the same time.

I urinate out side all the time and there is no foul smell out side my house...besides dogs, deer, coons, and all other kinds of animals urinate outside unless you live next to a water treatment plant I don't think you are going to have a problem with the smell.

Most people including myself have been doing that for years already ,just to keep drunken friends out of the clean bathroom
but it also saves many buckets of water
My dog already knew about it
and the trees are very happy with a bit of uric acid
that is why dogs and trees are friends

Pee in a little box. It is the next step up to being civilized!
Never know who is peeping outside ;-)
Or just don't flush when you pee until you do #2

No, Its Human Waste. If you have a Well, or pipes underground, I highly Suggest you don't pee outside, because your water could get infected, and or if you have water from a Local Source it could get into there..
