Ok yesterday it started to feel like someone was shoving a knife up my who ha when I urinated. I went to the doctors today since I have an IUD assuming it was a bladder infection. He told me that it is not as the bacteria was not present in my urine and is sending me for more testing. I am married and I have been monogamous and my husband has as far as I know. When I examined myself I found a little nick inside the lips of my vagina just above the vaginal opening, almost like a a little chunk was cut out. There are no other irritations, no pus, nothing like that. Im thinking that my husband just cut me with his fingernail and its a cut so obviously it burns when I pee. Im not sure though and I'm very worried. Any one have any advice, experience input to help me out?

Oh and for those who are wondering why I put that I went to the doctors asap because of the IUD its because complications such as PID can arise from having an infection with an IUD inserted.

see when you get a scratch down there and feel the "burn" then i think its different than a bladder infection or a diff. kind of burn. If the burn feels like it is external, then i dont think that you have anything to worry about, but if it is internal then i would be worried .
