Given the recent finds in the Gulf of Mexico, the stuff off of the Brazilian coast and what we have left domestically you should have plenty of gas for your Hummer. But eventually your Hummer will be a hybrid so you will have to worry about alternative energy at that point. I'll ride a bike so you can drive the Hummer.

It depends on two things:
1. How well we are able to conserve our energy use now, and into the future;
2. How long you live.

Your driving a huge Hummer isn't contributing anything to the conservation of Earth's natural resources. In fact, it's those gas-guzzling Hummers and SUVs that are devouring our planet's supply of natural energy. Your wasting a lot of electricity, water and gas won't help your future either - nor will it help the future of your children, grandchildren or great grandchildren.
Arrogance, avarice, selfishness, ignorance and hubris have all set in to make us unaware, uninformed and uninterested in saving this planet. So as you squander your grandchildren's future, just because you're too self-absorbed with your own materialism, you might want to consider what poor stewards we've been of this Earth over which we were given dominion. -RKO- 12/06/07

NO, they will not run out before you are dead.
But why do you waste a lot of elec., water and gas???, it costs you a lot of $$$.
As you drive a huge hummer you must waste a humdinger amount of gas etc., and as this type of vehicle is very expensive l guess you must be rich and don't care how much you waste, but the rest of us do, so think on,
Don't waste so much stuff man, or there won't be enough for our children and their children and so on.

Probably not. The best estimate is that undiscovered oil reserves are at least equal to the total amount of oil produced to date. This does not include unconventiional sources such as oil sands or oil shale, where the known reserves are even larger than the proven reserves in Saudi Arabia. Coal can also be converted into gasoline, diesel and jet fuel using sixty year old technology. My advice, don't worry.

No, those resources will never run out completely.

They will however become a lot more scarce, driving up their price extremely high. When the price of something, say oil, gets too high, then alternative energy sources start to take over to replace oil.

If fresh water really gets low, salt water can be filtered so that it is drinkable, but that's still pretty expensive.

Have fun in your hummer.

No, you will never see energy, oil, and water run out before you die. First off, water is not just disappearing off of the earth. Yes, global warming is happening but earth is not evaporating out of the atmosphere. Fresh water is mixing with salt water but there are desalination plants that can be built and there are also new inventions that will actually be able to take fresh water out of the air.

Energy will NEVER run out period. According to the Law of Conservation of Energy: energy is neither destroyed nor created. Energy is just transformed from one form to another. As for electricity, the exact same as water. We will adapt to find new ways of creating electricity that we as the human race can use. Wind, water, and especially the sun. The sun produces as much energy in one second that the human race (as of right now) would use in 500,000 years. There is more than enough energy out there with plenty of scientists trying to come up with ways to help our delima.

Finally, oil will not run out in any of our lifetimes but it will become more and more scarce along with becoming extremely expensive. Car companies along with other groups are trying to create different ways to harness energy without affecting our lives in bad ways. But in my opinion, they aren't trying hard enough though. Alternate Fuel Vehicles (AFVs) designs were thought up decades ago but have always been shut down because of how much money the fuel companies have. In my opinion, the fuel companies will gouge up one too many times and we will eventually want to spend our money elsewhere in which we will buy other cars that use alternate fuels. I can't wait for that day to come.

leme think, at the rate peopel r using up aluminum, it will be up in 70 years,
fossil fuels in like 80
say goodbye to silicon in 3000 years, so dont worry bout that

o , and there r other resources that will be gone in like 50......
wow, pretty depressing, isnt it????????????????
ISNT IT???????????????????
anyway, to the point, he hummer, it isnt really worth it, cuz it is a gas eating machine, and wont help u much.
water, we got alot of (if we dont get nuclear war)
and electricity, i mentioned fossil fuels, something about 80 years at current rate
do politicians give a (insert curse word here), no they dont, they are 50 and over, hell, theyll be long gone by then.

yes because oil is going to run out in 20 years or sobut energy will never run out because people will alway find alternative sources of energy
You may want to consider a fuel efficient car to save money

I relatively doubt it. specific, we are all fed the advice that we are determining of organic supplies, yet why do you think of is unlawful to drill for oil in the u . s .? Yeah there is fracking, yet i think of it is merely a huge rumor in keeping with fake advice that no person else can show incorrect to get us all to purchase further and further and greater.
