I have used it many time when I was a chef, it is a special oil used mainly in North African country's, its seed it often found in areas were goat or sheep herds are, I have some right now actually and got it in Toronto ON Canada at an Arabic store were I buy my Feta and Syrian string cheeses.

Like Balasamic vinegar, Truffle oil, it is a finishing oil or something you use very sparingly, I paid $12.00 CDN for a 6 oz bottle.

I first used it in France and we also had some in Singapore, back then not alot of people have much knwledge of it or its uses, like truffle oil it is a finishing oil, drizzled over meats or salads even cous-cous or with a fine made Tagine, I use an eye dropper with mine, it is something you like or do not, the first time I used white truffle oil for friends on fresh pasta and served it with a 20 yr old parmeasn in a light butter sauce, they were a bit put back with it's headiness, same with the Argan oil be very sparing with it.

Here is a site with more details and a price range for you.

Hey! :) They're the same thing. Sometimes it's called Moroccan argan oil. (Argan is native to Morocco). This serves as a heat protectant and a remedy for damaged, dry, frizzy and brittle hair. I'm actually using the one's from Pro Naturals. ;)
