for me its a tie between the cheap fruit cakes with those nasty green and red pieces of bitter fruit in them and the new flavored egg nogs which are too sweet, full of calories and leave a oil slick in your mouth.

Never had Figgy Pudding or Wassail. I enjoy all of the rest in very small quantities. Cheese Log is probably my fave on your list. I like good old sugar cookies and short bread, undecorated.

Figgy Pudding & Fruit Cake. But then, some folks love it that's why it's still made.

On Christmas Eve, we frequently have a lamb curry for the night meal....i'm undecided despite if we can be doing that lower back this year. the main meal on Christmas Day does selection somewhat.....it has commonly been goose or turkey, even with the indisputable fact that. This year, we are having a turkey....with stuffing and vegetables....and in keeping with probability a plum pudding to persist with!

Well, you have already mentioned most of them.

You have placed them in an order I would "almost" agree on.

But for me... I might take small "polite" portions of what you have mentioned

But- don't ever try to get me to eat anything to do with oysters
NOT even oyster dressing...
I will cook again this year and not have any of the stuff on your list ... wanna come over?

HAPPY EATING THIS YEAR...

Cornish hens are nasty. Poor little tiny chickens. They just look like little birds. Egg nog- I love it!! Yule cheese logs are pretty gross. I dont like the way they taste.
