Well if you're asking what food is popular rather than traditional then here goes - fish & chips, kebabs, pizzas, curries - indian & chinese, burgers - KFC, McDonalds, etc. Anything unhealthy, and easy to prepare as people here in the UK have lost the ability to cook! We eat rubbish food. I cook for me and my husband - thats how I've been brought up, and I wouldn't say I was a brilliant cook but I can't believe how crap or how little other people cook. I'm brilliant compared to them!

Our usual fayre for dinners at home is the traditional roast beef dinner.

Common fast food and take aways are fish and chips, but increasingly popular are Chinese foods and the British "Indian" dish tikka masala.

My mom has been to the UK, but its been a while, so some of this is old, but I think its pretty accurate.

Steak and kidney pie, bangers and beans, roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, shepherd's pie, Vegemite, lamb w/ mint jelly, and fish and chips w/ malt vinegar.
