One 81mg aspirin a day is the usual dosage. I am assuming that your friend is under a physician's care.

You should take 1 - 81 mg. aspirin tablet a day. If you have heart problems the Dr. will probably put you on a blood thinner, like Plavix, a cholesterol medicine and maybe a nitro patch.

more details please.....how old is your friend? What specifically are the heart problems? 81 mg is considered baby aspirin and is good to take every day to decrease your risk of a heart attack or stroke due to it's blood thinning capabilities.

For that you take 81mg of aspirin. True heart problems though need medication from the doctor.
