Very few STD's are picked up in public toilets or hot tubs/swimming pools. You probably don't have the wart virus either, those don't come and go like you described.
Ingrown hairs don't disapper in 2 days. I can't see masturbation doing it either.
Since it's recurring, the best way to tell is to call a nurse or make an appointment with a doctor for an exam.

You can not have an STD because STD's are sexually Transmitted Diseases. If you have not had sex, you can not have an STD. You can get a heat rash or cause a rash through masturbation, or it could even be jock itch, which is common and not harmful.

Ok, I know most answered this question as a no you can not get an STD without sex but, this is not actually true. Things such as Pubic Lice which they can live away from human skin for 24 hrs. However...although I highly doubt it is an STD...you should get it checked out by your physician.

No you don't have an std. You would have to have skin to skin contact to pass on most std's. It sounds like you have pimples, and they can occur on any part of your body. You can use pimple cream to treat it.
Try wearing boxers, and keep that area fresh and clean. Pimples occur when your pores are clogged, so when u are done masturbating, don't let it dry on your skin.

STD means Sexually Transmitted Disease. If you never had sex, you won't have it.
It is probably some other kind of infection or inflammation. Get it checked out before it gets worse.

If you've never had sex then you probably don't have an STD. It could be just an ingrown hair or pimples.

i dont think its an std, because if it was they would most likely be very irritating. if you shave or trim your pubic hair it could just be some minor razor burn. or they could also be sweat bumps that just come and go an dont do anything exept look gross for a few days then go away.
hope i helpedd =)
