My motto when travelling is the same as the Boy Scouts' motto ...."Be Prepared!" so I usually pack more than I need for the trip just in case.

I always over pack! However, when my husband told me we were going on a 700 mile motorcycle trip I had to learn to pack light. Very light, not much stuff will fit in a saddle bag. That also meant that I could not buy anything. I think he done that on purpose!

I over pack. Can't help it, never know if I am going to need it or not. Usually on a week long trip, I take 3 bags and a make up kit. Usually the trunk is filled with just my luggage. Sorry never know what I need.

I try to pack light, but I always end up carrying everything. I have to pack for every eventuality, who knows what I may end up doing while there.

I'm a light packer. I only bring essentials. I once had a boyfriend who packed heavy all the time he couldn't even help me with my luggage. I think it was overkill and I hated him for that.
