You can move to any of the 27 EU member states today and you don't even need to tell anyone. No permits, visas, etc.
You'll find casual work using English in most major cities and especially in the tourist hot spots on the Mediterranean.
If you want something better paid, then consider teaching english as a foreign language (TEFL) You can do a weekend course in the UK and quickly pick up a job just about anywhere - native speakers are in high demand.
If you have some skill or qualification you should be able to get a better job, but that usually requires knowledge of the local language. Although anywhere in Holland and Scandanivia will work through English.
Be sure to get a European Health Insurance card. Its free and gives you unlimited access to any state hospital in the EU.

If you are a UK passport holder or a British Citizen you can emigrate to any European country without limitation.
Australia, New Zealand, Canada you need to pass their immigration requirements, usually a sliding scale of what their countries need from you. Basically if you are rich this overrides any other limitations.
America requires that you are either rich or have a job to go to (there are other requirements, but you can look them up)
Some countries (non-english speaking) require that you learn their language, but this is common sense anyway for integration into the country.

You have the right to live absolutely anywhere in the EU, but of course language can be a barrier. You can get by in places like Greece without knowing the language as most people speak English, unless you intend actually working there and then you would definitely need to know the language.
Australia and New Zealand are good options. They operate a points system to determine whether you can get in, but if you're educated, working and have even a small amount of savings then you should qualify. If you already have relatives there who can sponsor you then you don't need anything else.

There is no easy move to another country. Sorry its very difficult on a number of levels.
Canada, US, Australia all have some hurdles to newcomers and each accepts people more on their ability to intigrate and on their level of education or work skills.
It is a long procedure and not very expensive but requires committment and acuracy. West Canada is ragging with work right now if you have the right skills and education.
Some difficulties you may face are criminal checks, a full security assessment by the Authorities. You may have to re-do your driving test in your new country. If you have children then the process takes even longer.
It is worth the trouble and frustrations if you are committed.

Well it depends whether you need to work or not?
If not, as most of the populations of former Soviet Bloc countries like Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Czechoslovakia, Hungary etc. (who are now all part of the E.U.), have left their native countries to come to live and work in the U.K. with their families, the best places for Brits to go to are probably to one of those countries.
In Poland for example all the Poles who are moving to the U.K. have homes going cheap they want to sell before they move to the U.K., so you can get in there easily while it remains so much cheaper than western European countries like Spain or France.
Alternatively, if you need to work then probably best to consider a country like Saudi Arabia or The United Arab Emirates or Libya where the local people do not believe in working themselves but pay high wages to people from other countries who have the skills to do the work they lack, which you may well have?

It depends on you and your partners skills and qualifications. You could have the right skills to move to Canada, for example, but your partner might not. If neither of you have any of the required qualifications and skills you may be better off getting married and one of you moving to the other's country on a spouse visa.
