I don't.

Apes and humans have common ancestry, and we both were descendants of an earlier primate.

Adam is a fictional character. He is not a descendant of anything.

God said He created Adam. He did not say He morphed him from an ape or any other living being. Therefore, Adam is not a descendant of an ape.

I do, because it is not possible.

Darwin was a great scientist, he even catigorized many many species and some new ones on his quest to the Galopegos Islands. His theory of evolution is logical but contridicts the fossil record, along with the proof of the Creatatious Explosion and the evidence of the K-T boundary.

What I think is ignorant of people, is that many take the side of Darwin's theory of Evolution vs God and the Bible without reading his book or having any prior knowledge of his work or scientfic findings. Darwin in many chapters even wrote on how some of his findings did not make sense and he also wrote a note in the last page of his book giving credit to the Creator of all things.

Some people migh argue "well humans and primates have about 98% the same DNA structure". Well that's false because a child is related to his parents a maximum of 93%. The percentage is off but the idea of the claim came from the truth of our DNA. We are related to primates in the fact we have 2 eyes, 1 mouth, 4 limbs, endoskeleton, warm-blooded, have hair, etc, etc whch says that most DNA information is just a pile of data on how we are built as organisms.

To not make this a long tangent..., just doing some research on findings will tell you many, many ways on which Darwin's theory or rather hypothesis has been proven wong over and over again

Adam is not only the descendant of an ape - according to the Linnaean classification system he IS an ape, just as you and I are.

Neither you and I have a tail (apes do not have tails.) We both have a genetic defect that does not permit us to synthesize vitamin C (as do our fellow apes.) You have a five fingered hand with a grasping thumb (as do all apes.) You have stereoscopic colour vision (as do all apes.) And you have strong group social skills (also an ape trait.)

Dude you're an ape. So am I. So was Adam - regardless of the dignity God has given us, it remains a fact that the mold he used for us, and the path he led us down does come from the ape lineage.

No apes!! We are descendants of Adam! Not monkeys!

no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor.

I don't think, I know he's not. You have no knowledge of Adam being created.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...

Gen.1:27 So God created man in His own image

Gen. 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

HOW AWESOME!!!

Adam is a character in a story, therefore not a biological creature.

Adam is a meme, related to similar memes in previous and analogous creation stories.

The human species did not descend from modern apes. Rather we share a common ancestor with the modern apes.

Actually we share a common ancestor with most if not all modern life. I guess I will go visit my cousin the ant.

Adam was the first "soul". Who really can say what came before him, and how long before?

I think ADAM is a myth.
