God did not "create" sin. Sin at least does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light.
In regards to the question, i think all sin is equal. ( maby not in our eyes) but in Gods eyes sin is sin, and we need a savior to save us.
The post above says no sin exists, but you sin without even trying. If you have even thought a lustful thought, lied once in your entire life. You have sinned.
To deny this is to deny your being.
Admitting your a sinner is the first step.
