There's no reason to be nervous. The idea behind group therapy is that other people with similar problems or experiences can offer you support because they understand what you're going through. You'll be expected to talk honestly about the event that brought about your PTSD and how it has affected your life. You're not expected to tell your whole life story in one session. Just provide the group with details about your experience as you feel comfortable.

It's natural to be a little nervous before starting any new thing like group therapy, but you will soon find you're in the company of people who know and understand your situation. They can offer you a lot of comfort and support. Give it a chance.
