i have personally experianced one of those....but i cant say for sure because you never mentioned other symptoms. for example drowsiness or nausea, or where it actually hurts.
if you have those symptoms and the pain is throbbing at your temple and intense pain on your eye, it could be a case of bad migraine.
it could go on for a long time. i had it for 2 months. there are many causes, but usually the remedy is a painkiller. i would opt for traditional or home remedies, like isotonic drinks, coconut water, heat compression, relaxation methods and so, because most of these cases are due to bad relaxation techniques. when under stress, blood pumps hard and fast to your head. specifically the brain. and when you relax suddenly, your brain does not require that amount of blood but your veins and blood vessels dont contract. so the blood still rushes fast and hard to your head causing the poppin of the veins on your forehead and temple.
try soaking your feet in hot water to reduce your blood pressure. please also consult with your doctor. i can never be too sure whatt it could be.

Unlikely, but better you see a doctor for a complete check up. My guess is stress or high blood pressure. Please don't ignore this, your body is telling you something is not right. Your body is like a car, you have to keep it in good running condition so it will last a long time. Good luck and be well soon.

Feel sorry for you! Go to a doctor immediately. This is not normal and noone on Yahoo can give you an answer as to what it is. You need a cat scan or MRI to determine the cause.

i have had severe headaches since feb, go to your doctor he will decide if you need a mri scan , there are so many different types of headaches , from stress related ones, to migraines[ which only last up to 42 hours and cluster headaches , which can be around for weeks . my mri showed i have nothing serious to worry about , and in most cases this is proved to be true .

Yes,but when I started getting migranes I had it very bad for a whole month. are there any other symptoms as well. you may have a brain anurism or pressure on the brain that needs to be releived. I would consulta physisian soon! GOOD LUCK!!

headache is only indication of any many abnormalities in our health .It is not necessary all head aches are due to some brain disease. thinking on these lines and attributing every headache to some brain disease is itself a brain disease.

firstly u just get relax.if u have some one who can help u out tell him or her to massage oil on yr head.its better if u can go in saloon
and tell them that u want to have head massage.because there are certain points in head which they press .u will surely fell better.secondly sleep relaxingly.there should be no tension circling in yr head while u sleep.don't think to much be happy go lucky.thirdly socialise with every one.u will feel better.if u do this tips u will surely feel better.
