True faith is indeed a virtue. Of that there is no doubt.
The faithful cooperate with what they discern to be God's divine will, trusting that the ultimate result will be far superior to that which might be accomplished solely on their own.
This doesn't cause one to abandon his free will. It enhances it and perfects it ... much as a good GPS map system serves to direct a person to the appropriate destination ... without a lot of detours, wasted time and effort.

This ability is a blessing not a virtue. If you can water the tree and not worry about the result that's blessing. If you obbey Him you'll pick tasty oranges.

Just the opposite I think faith is a vice. A total cop-out. Whenever someone accepts something on faith they`re admitting that it cannot be asserted on it`s own merit. What a sham!

I was raised by God. I realized that during one of my many reflective moods. So part of what I think has to do with what God has taught me. He raised me to be who I am. So I would differ with you if you mean that God wants people who do not think.
