You are incorrectly assuming all christians believe in creationism. I am a christian and believe strongly in evolution.

You probably shouldn't have said "brainwashed bible thumpers"
Actually the bible never said we were 'inbred'. It is only implied, by folks who want a ruckus to start. If you want anger, you will find it.
As 'Silver' already said; when there are only 2 mates of a specific species, there is no room for 'impure breeds'-this happens generations later. The original 2 produce a pure strain in itself-first of its kind.
So Cain and Abel weren't inbreds. Where did the female Cain supposedly mate with come from? (Abel was murdered). The bible did not say, because Cain left the story. What if only Adam and Eve were the ones to have offspring, perhaps?
Maybe Cain started the Inbreeding-found a gorilla to mate with or something, or came back and raped a mom or sister? He WAS an evil fellow, who spread evil.
Maybe humanity's sin is that we are ALL sons of Cain. Oh well-Abe Lincoln and Ben Franklin turned out okay...
The bible-like its christian readers-dosen't dwell on tracking the Evil.

If everybody's in that boat, why would I have a problem with it?

Are you aware of the mitochondrial DNA studies done a few years ago that showed that the entire human race had a common female ancestor? And no, I'm not saying it was Eve - the evidence doesn't say she was the only woman in the world at that time. Still, even science says we're all "inbred" in that sense.

I do find that strange, but i think it was the in the family relationships that populated the world...and the fact that they had time scince they lived for 900 years because of the 3% more oxygen they had back then. LOL that is funny tho

Why do you point out this kind of stuff? Don't you realize that it doesn't matter whether you are talking about the Bible or evolution, that all humans are descended from one or two people? I suppose you haven't been reading the articles in Scientific American and other magazines that say that all humans descended from a single woman (or man depending on the author) that lived in northern Africa. The more science tries to distance itself from religion the more it proves that God is real.

Well, historically, inbreeding can be proven in places besides the bible. Take a look at royalty pedigree charts. And given that at one point, most people were related to royalty on some level, most of us would come from inbreeding regardless of Adam and Eve.

in the very early days of humanity, there were a limited number of human beings. as a result, marriage between close relatives was often necessary. it was not until humanity increased greatly on the earth that people no longer needed to intermarry amongst relatives. in the early days of humanity, the human genetic code was not corrupted to the extent that it is today. therefore, it was safe for close relatives to marry and have children. there was little risk of genetic abnormalities in their children. once the human race expanded and/or the human genetic code became corrupted too much – God commanded against the marriage of close relatives.

Adam and Eve were perfect people. as such, inbreeding, which is an imperfection, did not apply to them. however, once they did disobey and became imperfect, [ Genesis 2:16.17] it was not too long before Almighty God brought in laws to prevent close relations marrying, resulting in birth defects.
