I am an agnostic, and I have thought about this. Let's say Christianity is the truth and I meet my maker, I would simply reply, "Lord, you simply didn't provide us with enough evidence, I used the faculties you gave me to the best of my ability, and I can stand here and honestly say that I could not bring myself to belief you were real."
Do you think God would prefer an honest man who could not believe, or a fraud that pretended he did, and took a gamble just in case it paid off? If God is real, and is as righteous, loving and forgiving as they claim, then, I am certain She would have space in Her heart for a man that tried his best and honestly could not belief.

I would ask many questions, some of which I will jot down for you right now in order to answer your question...(the list of logical questions would almost be endless, but for the purposes of this answer...I'll only list a few...
1. What were people suppose to do BEFORE there was a "Christ...?"
2. What "specifically" am I suppose to ask forgiveness for...(stealing a crayon when I was 3 years old...? Or the time I jumped ahead in line at a concert? I mean...as far as I know...nobody is taking meticulous notes and jotting down everything they ever did wrong while they were living...so am I to assume all "God" wants for us to do is admit that we've made some mistakes while growing up and learning? Well...is that MY fault, my parents couldn't cover every little nuance of "wrong-doing?" I guess when a 1 or 2 year old smears their poop all around their crib, they are sinning, huh?!? Is all he wants us to do is say..."You know what?!? I really love that Jesus dude...he was very cool?!?""
3. Why does God insist upon such an obtuse thing as us "believing" in something...Why does he need or want our belief? What's so important about us "believing?" Does our "belief" somehow make him get a tingly sensation all over? Does it make him have a case of the "God Runs" if we don't believe? Why he is adamant about this whole "believing" thing...I mean...I know people who don't believe in me....but that doesn't bother ME a bit....so why would it bother HIM?
4. Specifically, what physical thing is "proof" you accepted Christ into your "heart.?" We know that our "heart" is simply the muscle organ that pumps our blood, and that the "brain" is the source of our intelligence and self-awareness...so...how would you know someone is either telling the truth about "accepting Christ," or simply "lying" about it to keep people from bugging them?"
I could think of a thousand questions that shed light immeditately on the "total absurdity" of "God Claims..."
It's so far-fetched and ludicrous, and makes absolutely NO logical sense at all...
I can't believe people didn't throw "God" out of their "belief" system at the same time they threw out Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy...I see no difference between the claim that there's an invisible guy who goes around once a year and hands out free gifts to good people, and the claim there's an invisible creator of the entire universe...in fact...the 2nd claim is even harder to believe than the 1st one...at least the 1st claim has a more likely chance of being true...at least we know there are reindeer...and guys who dress up in funny red winter clothing...

You will not find out how wrong you were until you are resurrected. Revelation 20; 12,13.
You will be judged, not on what you may have done [ wrong] but how you react to God's new system.
Your death has already paid in full for your committed sins.
Note: Your committed sins.
(ROMANS 6:23) For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.
Wages is full payment. There is no debt left, so there is no need for further punishment...hellfire...it is a false teaching.
Jesus' death has paid for your 'inherited' sin, the sin that causes death.
Genesis 2; 16,17
If you are still alive when Armageddon occurs, only the righteous will live through that. Those destroyed at Armageddon have no resurrectionat all. They are destroyed permanently.

Well I believe, if you make a mistake and you need to fix something... you will still be given a chance to fix it... and you should seize that moment whenever you come across it because that may be your last chance. And I honestly believe that you only die if it is truely your time to go and if it is your time to go when you accomplished everything you needed too and didn't make a mistake and or fixed your mistakes and you are just comfortable with how you live your life then you move on to a peaceful afterlife. I think if you commit suicide or are sentanced to death because of something you've done wrong or have just lived with guilt and passed up so many opportunities to fix them ... then you go to a not so happy place.
I hope this helps... I'm not sure if anyone will really understand it.

I would ask him why he didn't make the bible more believable. I would ask him why so many people had to die horrid, torturous deaths because of Christianity throughout the last 2,000+ years. I would tell him that most major religions through history lasted around 2,000 years and Christianity seemed like it was on its last legs. I would ask him why the bible is a collection of stories from other religions passed off as gospel. Then I would apologize for being a critical thinker.

As it is written - "After death there is no salvation"
However, during judgment day, everyone will be given a chance to defend himself. Judgment will be base on the following criteria as mentioned in the scripture.
1. Those who live without the law shall be judge without the law
2. Those who live with the law shall be judge according to the law
3. Those who do not believed is already condemned
Jesus said:
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given unto me"
"He who believes in me believes in the one who sent me"
"I and the Father are one"
The Bible Says:
"There is no name given under heaven by which a man must be saive"

Go to hell I guess. What if you're wrong about the FSM or the Ju Ju at the bottom of the sea or any of the thousands of religions in existence. How long is Pascal's wager going to be played out.
If the Christian god is real, I will be glad I didn't waste my life worshiping a megalomaniacal tyrant like him

Believe it or not, I am being VERY real here. Even if God himself actually appeared in front of me I'd still refuse him. Even if Jesus begged himself to come to heaven, I'd go to hell. Why?
Heaven is ecstasy. It is supposed to be 100% happiness. There cannot be absolute 100% happiness. To be happy for real, you have to have certain degree of misfortune. Otherwise, you wouldn't really know if you're happy or not. Thus, you are lost. You don't know what to do. "This is supposed to be the happiest I can get but why am I unhappy?" You'd end up sitting helplessly at the edge of a cloud drooling off your saliva. Not much of an absolute happiness, eh? It's a paradox!
At least, in hell, the pain makes you sharp. Yes, it would be painful, but I think being in endless pain is better than being hopelessly helpless. At least, this way, your mind would be straight and clear.
Still, rotting after death is much better than endless pain. Thus I choose to be an atheist.

"what do you think you will say"?[implied]
It is NOT gonna happen but seeing as we are pretending about pretend Invisible Sky Critters I'd ASK:
1. Why didn't you give us some evidence.
2. Why did those pretentious sanctimonious xians get it right.
3. Did you really expect me to be scared of that threat of hell like your xians are? Of course you didn't; you already knew how I'd react. You made me that way, you clown.
THEN I'd demand to go to hell cos I would rather be with the likes of Gandhi, Lenin, Lennon, Princess Di, et al, than with you lot.
I come here for the comedy - I've found fundies do it best.
Thank YOU! for adding to my mirth.

If one does not know of Christ upon death, they are given the chance to accept Christ at judgment. Hence why all those in the past and today that do not know of the name, still have a chance and are not doomed to hell.
