I was baptized when I was a baby, but I don't come from a religious family. I don't read the bible and I don't believe in any God, not just Jesus. I don't plan on changing the way I feel and I don't plan on changing my beliefs.
I just want others opinions on this. I want to know how other people feel and think. Is the way I think and feel a sin? If it is, what do you people think about it?
I know most people would say "Since you're not planning on changing your beliefs, why even ask the question?" The reason I'm asking it is because (like I said in the previous paragraph) I just want some opinions on this. I'm curious about what other people think.
Please, no rude or ignorant responses!

Just to calrify, the reason I don't believe in Jesus, or any other god for that matter, is because I don't see the point to it. I know people might see that as a bad saying but let me continue.
Everyone is always going to have their own opinions and their own beliefs. Who is to say that any one specific god is the "Real" or "Right" one?
Personally, I think it's better to just focus on other things in life. Life is too short to be worrying about "My god is the better one" or "My god will lead us to salvation".
Life is too short to be worrying about things like that. I think people should just get out and enjoy it, instead of worrying aobut beings that not everyone agrees really exist in the first place.
Hope this gives you more insight on why I feel the way I do.

Does it matter? If it is a sin, it is one of many. The bible tells us "for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God".
No, I am not saying that you are a disgusting sinner and not worthy of being spat on, even if you were on fire. I am saying that the bible calls the best of us sinners. (Even me before I was born again - live sinless now? no but my nature is not to sin regularly).
Being baptised as a child makes no difference to your eternal destiny.

when you were a baby-people made the choice for you to believe in God. That is something a grown person should make on his own.
It is not a sin that you were baptized and now do not believe in God. You are now making your own decision about it and as a baby-you had no choice.
I do hope in time your eyes would be open and your heart softened so that God can show you how much you are loved.

I don't think baptism as a baby counts... i mean, you didn't choose to get baptized, did you?
Cause normally baptism should come after accepting Christ, and if it comes before, well, that's just plain weird. But not believing in God... even after you've heard about him time and time again, well, it's not something good... so i guess you could call it sin.
Why keep sinning?

I would say that if you know there is a God and reject him regardless because it is more convenient for you to not believe. That is a sin.
If however, you simply do not as of yet believe and cannot imagine yourself believing in the future, I don't see how that could be a sin.

Technically, what you are doing IS a sin.
As one who formerly thought as you do, I suggest you reconsider.
Life without faith is a lot like eating a bowl of chicken soup without the salt and seasonings that make it so special.
Not much point in it.

It's certainly not a sin in your case. It wasn't your choice. Even if you were old enough to know what you were doing it wouldn't be a sin. I think it would be a mistake, but that's not even approximately the same thing.

If you were baptized into water, all you get is wet.
If you are baptized into the Lord Jesus through faith in his atoning death, burial and resurrection; you will inherit eternal life.

If you are not a believer, you are not a sinner. So no, it is not a sin.
Sinning is for believers only, no matter how much they try to stamp it on others.

If you don't believe in God or the bible, how could that be a "sin" in your reality? For you, that would be no.

wait....if you are bluntly rejecting God.....why do you care if you have sinned against him?
--no amount of "good works" bring salvation.....
