You can give hydrogen peroxide orally. Give a 10 lb. dog about a teaspoonful and repeat in 15-20 minutes if doesn't vomit the first time. See your vet in the morning if you can't get to an emergency vet tonight--they should check bloodwork and perhaps give fluids to help flush out his system.

Call the vet back and ask what you should use to make the dog throw up. The longer you wait the more that aspirin will be absorbed into the system. Hurry, do it now.

Something you can try is "Greenie Pill Pockets for Dogs", that might be able to help you out. Another thing you can teach your dog for future medication doses is to teach her how to catch treats. There are many videos or websites to teach you how to train her. So all you have to do when you want her to eat her medication is have a rhythm. While feeding her meal or snacks, you sneak in the medication and she will catch it and eat it. Good Luck!

if the vet told you to give perioxide then do it, it has been known to kill puppies and adult dogs, i hope it was a vet and not a vet tech that told you to do it...but do it fast whatever they told you to do.....so the baby can get it out of its little stomach.........
and in the morning you may want to call your regular vet to get some Rymadryl for the pitt bulls joinrs, this is med meant for dogs with arthritus and joint problems......
human aspirin, you are asking for trouble, it can cause hardening of the heart arteries in a dog....
Rymadryl is made just for this purpose and you will notice a big difference in your pit bull once he starts taking he med...he will act and feel better and walk alot better....

the vet should have told you what to give. call them back and ask. that much aspirin can cause gastric bleeding, ulcers respiratory distress, neurological problems, and kidney failure in a small dog.
take him to the emergency vet, obviously they are open if you called them and talked to someone.

If you called the vet, what exactly did they tell you to give to the dog to induce vomiting?

You didn't look through the yellow pages or online for an emergency animal hospital? they're everywhere and they're 24 hours. Good luck. I would be worried, too
