so this guy and i hooked up a couple of times...sober and drunk. he was clearly interested bc he usually came to see me when he should have been finishing his work. a weekend comes along, and i don't see him, plus there was a rumer that i was hooking up with another guy he's friends with. i figured he wasn't interested and ended it. on that weekend, i hooked up with the his friend that everyone thought i was hooking up with . the next night, they both find out what i did, and don't talk to me. so i talk to the first guy, and i explain what happend, and he pretends like he doesnt know. i ask him if he's still interested, and he said he feels the same way as he did when we were hooking up. but he can't promise me anything bc of he has alot of work. i asked if we could hang out soon, and he was like yes, if he finds the time.

so i see him places, but he kind of ignores me. not directly but he chooses to pretend like he doesnt see me....

is he still interested but is still bitter?

I don't think him being interested is the issue here. If he is pretending not to see you, He is not over the fact that you were with his friend and he probably never will be.(though he doesn't seem like a very good friend to me) I would chalk it up to experience and leave them both alone.

He's still hurt. I think that he might be interested cos the sex was fun ... but he is hurting and doesn't want to go back there.

When will he get over it ... that's tricky to answer. That's very individual. In the worst case scenario, he'll never get over it and it will affect the way he interacts with all women from now on. In best case scenario - this weekend it'll be alright.
