I just really want to know opinions of males out there. Say if you really werent sure you wanted a long term relationship, would you be able to block emotions that are naturally present during sex? how do you do it? do you get uneasy? and if u feel that girl is feeling more for u than u do for her do u try to get out of relationship somehow?
I was hurt, thats all, and i just want some insight. thanx

Some guys do ... many guys have sex without necessarily feeling the loving feelings that girls often have.

But then - some girls can do the same

Guys who feel that the girl is too clingy and then bail ... well that's commitment-phobia (or a very clingy girl!).

It's a very common scenario you are describing.

How does a guy do it? There isn't really a technique. It's just about what you want. If all you want is the sex and you're getting the sex, well - that's great! If you are wanting love and you're getting sex ... and you associate sex with love - well them you get those feelings.

Short answer is yes. Guys are much more capable than women of having sex without any emotional connection. Those emotions aren't naturally present during sex, they are more prevalent in women when they engage in sexual activities, but they don't occur simply because you are having sex. I could write a whole book on this, but suffice it to say, they don't just happen, and they happen less with men, unless we have feelings for the girl in the first place. If I had what I thought was a one night stand with a girl, and then it turned into casual sex, but I got the impression she was thinking it was more serious than it was, then yes, I would end the relationship altogether. It wouldn't be fair to her to keep it going like that.

Sex for a man is a far more a simply physical act than it is for a woman, hence these "emotions that are naturally present during sex" are often one-sided (your side). A man can have sex with a woman he doesn't like, since he in his view he is having sex with her body and not "her", whereas this is far more difficult for a woman because of all those emotions you mentioned earlier.

If you are asking if we can have sex with someone we don't want to be in a long term relationship with, Of course we can! But a long term relationship is a lot better!

Many guys have sex with a girl (including myself, im not proud of it however, but this was in the past) to determine if they like them or not. Depending on the girl's performance in bed, he'll judge if he likfe her or not, if not he'll never talk to her again and act like it never happened
