christian and dinasours?

do you believe that dinasours ever existed? i am actually quite hesistant being that if noah had to put two of every animal in his ark dinosaurs wouldnt fit in there and god created earth and man .. and man was to rule over all the animals... whats your opinion?

It wouldn't be a problem to have all of these animals together, if you had young specimen, like newborn and the like, they wouldn't fight or try to kill each other.

There's no scientific evidence to support that humans coexisted with dinosaurs. Of course, if you're a person of faith, this means nothing to you. You could easily say "those fossils were just placed on earth by God to test our faith!" which is something I hear all the time. You might also say that the Biblical "days" as mentioned in Genesis aren't really days at all, but are possibly millenia and eons upon eons of time, which would allow ample time for dinosaurs to walk around on the earth, die, and then be buried in the sands of time long before the 6th day (which is when man was supposedly created). The point is, if you're a believer, there's just no point in trying to debate the nitty gritty details of the Bible like this because there's nothing anyone can say that will convince you of something other than your preconceived belief. You will always have a stand-by response: "It's to test our faith!" or "The Lord works in mysterious ways." So if you want to believe, then believe, but don't try to reconcile every point of your theology in an effort to convince others, because you'll only end up confusing yourself.

Dinosoars are just reptiles, like lizards and others. Reptiles never stop growing throughout their life time and back in the days when people were living to 900+ years old lizards also lived longer and so they jsut kept growing and growing for many years and grew very large into what we know as dinosuaurs. No since they don't live as long they don't grow as large anymore.

I am a Christian and I do believe that Dinosaurs existed. Noah didn't have to take 2 of EVERY animal...there is a really great book called..."Noah's Ark a Feasibility Study" that you might be interested in reading.

The average dinosaur was the size of a chicken. There were only a few large species, and Noah could have taken very young specimens of the larger species. Same with elephants and other large animals.

The studies that have been done to determine if all the animals could fit in an ark the size of Noah's ark have concluded it would be no problem.

Dinosaurs existed...There are those pesky fossil things everywhere lol If the verifiable truth goes against your religion, maybe you should look for a different religion :)

although it is not certian it seems like dinosours are talked about in the bible. The best discription of a dinosour like animal would be in Job chapter 40 but they use names like behemoth. It isn't certian though. But God tells us that he created all creatures though on the 6th day. I believe though that God did create dinosours though and that they did live among humans.

If Noah had to put just two of every mammal they wouldn't fit. Nevermind feeding them and keeping them from killing eachother. The Noah story is absolute mythology.
