I just wanted to hear other people opinion about this.
Ok I have a younger sister who is 17 years old, and since me and her are the only two kids in our family we have a close connection. But being a big brother she always comes to me for advice, but the one thing that kind of bugs me is that she has a boyfriend that lives about 20 miles away in the middle of nowhere. She always drives to see him and do things with him, but as a man I always see it as the mans responsibility to go and visit the girl that your dating, instead of putting the girlfriend through a hassal. I don't see nothing wrong with a girl to come see her boyfriend every once in a while. My sister goes to see him every week and he's always putting off a excuse or doesn't want to come to see her. Doesn't it seem fair if my sister goes to drive to see him he could at lease drive and see her. Especially how gas prices are?

Sounds a lot one-sided to me, yeah. He doesn't seem nearly as committed to the relationship as your sister does. She's headed for a heartbreak, I think. :(

I agree with you, but you're probably not going to get either one of them to see things your way, and frankly, without their blessing you have no place even getting involved. You know when your sister's really going to "hear" you? When she's heartbroken after they break up, at which time everything you've said all along will make some sense to her, but for right now, she can't hear it. It's frustrating, but it's completely normal.

i think you are right. some guys need to be more caring about their girlfriend. they should be willing to give up their time and drive over to their girlfriend's house so she doesn't have to come to their house everytime she wants to do something with them
