He is having a wonderful time with you and a GF. Why are listening to him? He is a player.

These answers are so one sided. Just because the guy's already in a relationship, doesn't mean he is a player. He could have been carrying a torch for you for years but knew he would never have a chance and had accepted it. Now he thinks he might have a chance after all. Sometimes you end up with people for the wrong reasons, and this is fine until someone you really love comes along. This could be what has happened here. I would talk to him about his feelings, get him to open up before laughing this off or making any rash decisions.

As someone who's been cheated on just recently, my advice would be to have him brake it off with the gf if he wants to start anything more serious with you. Even if he is having problems with his girlfriend, cheating on her is not the solution. If he really likes you alot, alot, he should be able to end his relationship to start fresh with you. For now, there is no harm is a little flirting, but beware, a little flirtin' can lead to a lot of lovin'! Good luck!

its a bit of a tough call, cos if you got together, how long would it be before hes talking over probs with you to another girl, and if he was to dump his gf...to go with you how long b4 he dumps you,and also if you met a realy nice bloke and wanted to go out with him,how would this freind of yours take it,would he interfere?be jelous?or would you feel that you need his permission first?you have a lot to take on board, this freind has the best of both worlds at the moment, and all because you were very vunerable when,he gave you a shaulder to lean on,so i would test him tell him you met a realy nice bloke the other day,and he was realy nice and you went for a coffee together and he wants to see you again but your unsure, but he left you his number, then just see what kind of reaction he gives off(its only a little white lie) but i still say that you be carefull of this man, please just be honest with yourself and ask yourself,if he is with another girl, does she know about me,does he tell her all my buisness, why dosent she get jelous about him ringing and hanging around me,am i being manipulated here? you know him best so you decide what you want to do,but i cant help but hear alarm bells in the distance.but best of luck anyway.

That is SUCH a line. He is trying to get into your pants, and he is testing the waters with you to see how you will react to him while you know he is already with someone else.
He is trying to find out if you're willing to be "the other woman", in other words.
Tell him flat out that you aren't into being "the other woman", you want a real relationship, but you are willing to remain friends if he stops the nonsense.

Just talk to him. That's always the best advice. If you're having issues with someone, talk to the person. Be honest, too. So talk to him and tell him the truth.

well, my suggestion would be. to tell him how you feel and let him know that you want the same thing. its not right for him to lead the other girl on if he is so interested in you. tell him that things are getting serious.

He's proving everytime he talks to you that he has no respect for women that is dates, you shouldn't even consider dating someone you can't even trust to be faithful
