She hangs with her "friends" every weekend which are mixed and she knows them since high school....she even went out with one a little while this summer after he hounded her and of course, he cheated on her and there goes her trust issue again. At what age do guys really start dating for serious relationships because I really don't want her to date anymore guys her own age or from her "friend family"....any suggestions? By the way, she is knock out gorgeous, size 0, going to grad school and is already a nurse with her BS so she is NOT dumb......help me out....and don't say the interns....she doesn't even talk to them at work let alone date them....

Believe me, I don't intend to do any match making here- I just want some ideas so I can "plant" some seeds of thought into her head so she can come up with them herself--and yes, I want her to find her own way, I just want her to stop getting hurt going down the path...

She should avoid dating doctors. They are trouble!

Guys date for serious relationships at different ages really more depending on what stage they are in their life - whether they want to settle down.

However, it is a difficult thing to work out where people are in their life until you spend some time getting to know them. So she should go out with some people - get to know them a little bit - see if that's what she's looking for.

Perhaps it would help to make a check list of what qualities she is looking for in her ideal guy. This will help her to know which guys to spend more time with. Of course this check list can change as her ideas and concepts change.

speaking as a 23 year old woman, you gotta let her find her own way. she has to take things at her own pace and figure out what and who she wants in life, not what you want in life.
