i have a criminal recored and i want to move to new zealand can i?

Depends - was it something really minor when you were a kid but you were unlucky enough to get a record for it?
I mean obviously if you've done armed robbery or murder, the answer is no ... so 'edit' and type in more details please.

It is necessary for anyone coming to live in New Zealand to provide a Police Certificate. I don't know if some types of crimes are waived or not dependant on the seriousness of the crimes. Check out the immigration website

Not likely, but you can check with the embassy of New Zealand to your country for immigation requirements.
