To the third: Much thanks but they say once I leave my body satan will come inside of me and take over plus you will lose your mind. But I want to to try it anyway because of the sound of freedom from it.

u mean lucid dreaming and astral projection?

it's awesome stuff if u're really willing to try it out...it takes practise though and it's a little scary at first, but u'll get the hang of it....the bad side effect i got from it was sleeping disorders, even after i stopped 'projecting'...especially insomnia and sleep paralysis

basically when u're lucid u're concious of the fact that you're dreaming, and u actually get to control your actions...astral projection is actually not that different from what i've tried but i find it scary...'sleep paralysis' is like the 'gateway' to the other level...that's when your body falls asleep before your mind does, enabling you to 'leave' your still body...it's kinda hard to explain, but that's actually the scariest part of it...once u get over it, u'll get used to the whole thing.

i actually learnt how to do it through the internet 2 yrs ago...hehe...i was curious too...

edit: what kind of things can u do...well it's a bit complicated to explain, but basically u can do anything (u'll have trouble controlling it at first), for eg. one of my lucid dreams was flying to disneyland, then going down the largest water slide ever, to find myself in a 'video game world' ala resident evil, it was fun because i knew i was dreaming and i knew i had the power to be as absurd as i can be because i won't die...at the same time everything felt 'real' because i was fully concious.

PS. btw i don't believe that your spirit or soul can leave your body, unless you are dead (part of my faith), and dreaming hasn't killed me. i believe that it is your 'mind's adventure through your subconcious' (and most would agree with me here) and not your actual 'soul' that does the travelling.

Can I ask why it is against your belief? Astral projection is not a practice of a religion/cult. All astral projection is, from what I've read, is the sense that "you" are out of your body. I've had an out of body experience, unintentionally; for a couple of seconds, I "saw" myself (my body) from behind myself- as if I were another person looking at me.

I do not think that this is my "soul", nor do I attribute this to any other supernatural explanation. I think it's just the sensation of "being" somewhere, while noticing that you are actually "supposed to be" somewhere else.

If you mean astral projection where you can by merely imagine yourself travel outside your body I have to tell you that it doesn't really happen (it's just a case of a person imagining that they're mind is out of their body which is impossible given that the mind is just the patterns of neurons in the brain).

There's no afterlife either.

Astral travelling/ astral projections or out- of- body experience is not for the faint of heart. This is the ability to have the spirit leave your body. Some will make it look like fun but there are a lot of dangers engaging in this. The process of spirit leaving the body should be natural and should never be forced. You can practice this but you should have someone with you that can truly guide you and that's hard to find. You want to make sure that your spirit can go back to your body. Trust me I know exactly what this is. I am not instilling fear in you but you should not dabble in it.
