i know its bad and im NEVER going to try it but i just wanna know what they do.....

That Voodoo is bad is a typical misconception. Voodoo, or as some call it; Santaria, is a religion which is a combination of African tribal beliefs mixed with Christianity.
It began in the Spanish plantations in the Caribbean islands amongst the slaves. They tended to follow their own beliefs and after they were enslaved, the Spaniards would force Christianity on them. This created a problem amongst the devout among them and Santaria was born. They took the teachings in the bible and fit them into their, much older, beliefs and so you have people doing majic to images of the Virgin Mary (godess figure) as well as Jesus (god figure) to accomplish their goals in their lives.
This is done with rituals to perform the majic as in Pagan/Wiccan beliefs, but unlike Pagan/Wiccan beliefs Santaria/Voodoo is used to both help and hurt people.
This, sadly is also what some, not most, Christians do with their faith by wishing harm on those who do not share their faith and oppose Christian intrusion into their lives.
In Santaria and Voodoo, these harmful acts are generally perfomed on specific individuals for very specific reasons, such as to make a person pay for harming them or a friend or family member, for stealing something or going back on a promise, for example.
So what you call Voodoo is really a religion which predates Christianity by many thousands of years and has taken on some aspects of Christianity to cause it to become a whole new religion.
Like Christianity, which was a Judeistic cult and became a religion of it's own, Voodoo, or Santaria, is a religion which has it's roots in African Pagan beliefs which took on aspects of Christianity to become still another stand alone religion.

Vodun is not bad! It is a blending of African and Christian religion. It is monotheistic. They believe in "The Good God", and in many saint like figures called Loa. They do practice animal sacrifice, but the animal is well treated and the body of the animal is eaten afterward. The only difference in that and what Colonel Sander's does in intent and the treatment of the chickens. (The Colonel isn't as nice to them.) Look it up on Wikipedia or a religious tolerance website.

That's one of those things that I just leave alone. Kinda like the ouji boards. It's all works of satan and completely opposed to God, so I just stay away from it. Not to say I'm never curious, I think that's only natural, but I follow God and God alone. Brings to mind the verse in the Bible that talks about not looking to the left or the right. Can't remember where it is, must look it up...

If you "know" it is bad then you will NEVER open your mind enough to know what it is that a Voodoo practitioner does. It is nothing like Hollywood presents it, BTW. It is what is known as an African Traditional Religion and some of the practices have been traced back almost 10,000 years based on archeological evidence.
And what you THINK you know about it is probably based entirely on the movies...... So you really need to let go of your misconceptions.

It's a religion that evolved out of island beliefs and Catholicism. It's not bad- it's a lot like other Pagan beliefs. You should really read about it and not take rumors for granted.
Edit: Hestia is right. It is also derived from ancient African religions.

As a Christian you know to stay away. All religions other than Bible based Christianity are false and therefore are of the devil. Now, I believe that everyone should be allowed to choose their own beliefs and lifestyle, but that doesn't mean I believe all to be the same. Its not me that really says that though, its the Bible.

look it up I have no idea I'm not into evil. But I bet you can find crap loads on here that do know about it .

It's a religion. It is not evil. Please, educate yourself on it. Don't start off closed-minded.
