I am so sorry that you saw this and that it changes how you feel about your dad. You didn't say if he said anything when you walked in and saw this.....so I don't know if you talked any about it. That is what I would suggest to do...even if it makes you a little uncomfortable. I would just say something like...."dad can I talk to you about something? I just want you to know that the porn you were looking at on the computer disgusts me and makes me feel bad about you....and I don't want to feel that way." and then just see what he says. If he believes in God, then you could mention that you don't think God would like it. There really isn't anything you can do to stop him looking at it. You can talk to him and pray for him. He might need to talk to someone else if he says he wants to stop doing that. A pastor would be able to help him. I will pray for you to have the right words to say and for him to stop looking at that....also for you to be able to feel good about him again. You are not the only daughter to feel this way....and it is NOT your responsibility to fix him. If you talk and he is unhappy with you....that is not your fault....that is his problem. It is between him and God. I hope things work out and if you need to talk please email me.

It doesn't matter what age a person is who is looking at it or the age of the people in the photos. Pornography is wrong and should not be allowed on the Internet in the first place. Definitely tell your dad how you feel if you feel comfortable enough or go to your mother, grandparent, teacher, or police.
Hope this helps.

This isn't any of your business. Your father is an adult and has a right to do what he wants. However, you might want to leave him a note on the computer that you would appreciate it if he would clear the history.

It is understandable that you would look at your father in a different light after all he is your hero, your example the person you look to for guidance the person who you will pattern many of your own attitudes and behavior after. I would let him know how you feel and let him know he has let you down. It is not healthy for anyone to look at porn. It is an addiction and he needs help.

Theres nothing wrong with porn. It's what guys watch. As long as it doesn't involve kids, then it's ok.

Men look at porn. Unless it was child pornography, he did nothing wrong. Get over it.
