ok. my brother is engaged to a girl. right now he is in jail. she lost her engagement ring and cant find it. if she told my brother he would get really uset. should we get her the exact same ring for christmas, (it was only $98) or dont and have my brother get upset causing the girl to get upset causing my mom to get upset which will cause ME to get upset. i dont like being upset. its not fun. please help me. im not posting this to be judged, so if ur jus gonna say somethin like "wow you rly have a screwed up family" or something, SCREW OFF.
but thanks in advance 2 ne 1 who is not rude and doesnt judge other people...

If you can afford to replace it then offer to do that as her Christmas present. I'd say in that circumstance what your brother doesn't know won't hurt him. It's kind of you to be willing to do that. (Even if it does sound like it's just to keep peace).
Peace just may be worth the $98. If it was me, I'd replace it and tell her not to say anything.
