How much money do you want to spend?

Wheelset and fork are the most important stuff for riding. If you want the best, go for Industry 9 wheelset or Mavic 819 or DT Swiss 4.2 rims laced to Chris King hubs and some nice spokes.

About forks, I have a Marzocchi All Mountain SL 1 (2007) and it's pretty good, but you could get a Fox Float RLC or Fox Vanilla RLC (depending if you want air or coil), or a Rock Shox Revelation or Pike (for the Pike, you need a 20mm front hub). If you do get a Fox or RS, send it to Push to have it adjusted to your riding style and weight.

Magura Louse FR, Hope Mono M4 or Formula disc brakes.

Crankset, get Shimano XT or XTR. Front deraileur Shimano XT or XTR. Rear deraileur SRAM X.9 or X.0. SRAM shifters (you can get trigger or grip shifters).

Thomson makes some very good seatpost and stems.

Tires, it just depends on where you ride, so check the locals.

As I mentioned, the price for all this would be likely close to 3,000 or 4,000 bucks (without the frame).

Moving to a more realistical price, for the wheelsets change the hubs to Shimano XT (still laced to Mavic or DT Swiss rims). Rock Shock Pike. Don't get the XTR or X.0 stuff, while better than XT or X.9, you will not likely notice the difference (other than the wallet).
